Gareth (Gary) Edwards is a professional civil engineer with more than 25 years’ experience in the transportation engineering field, registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa. His experience spans management, economic and financial analyses, transportation planning and traffic engineering — including integrated public transport systems, traffic safety studies, transport operational plans, road master planning, traffic impact studies, signal optimisation, corridor studies and parking studies.

Who We Work With
Since 2015, GETE has delivered traffic impact assessments, parking studies, site traffic assessments and related investigations on over 250 projects across Gauteng and beyond — working closely with private developers, town planners, schools, churches and childcare facilities, and guiding each project through the traffic engineering requirements of local, provincial and national road authorities.

Gary has been involved in the update of the Linbro Park Road Master Plan, and has performed numerous traffic investigations in the Linbro Park area — giving him particular insight into the precinct’s road network and development requirements.
